19528 9/2/25 LEGAL NOTICE GILA COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gila County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. The hearing will be held in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 610 E. State Highway 260, Payson, Arizona, and will be simultaneously telecast to the Public Works Conference Room, located at 745 N. Rose Mofford Way, Globe, Arizona. One or more Commission Members may participate in the meeting via Microsoft Teams. REZONE CASE NUMBER, REZONP2507-002 TERRY GORTON VESCI (APPLICANT)/CHERYL ANDERSON (OWNER): Request for the Planning and Zoning Commission to review and provide a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to change the zoning for Gila County Assessor’s Tax Parcel Number 301-66-116U, currently zoned Commercial Two District (C2), to Residential One District Limited Density Forty (R1L-D40). The purpose of the rezoning is to allow the creation of five (5) residential lots, each approximately four (4) acres in size, intended for custom home development. Assessor’s Parcel Number 301-66-116U is located in Pine, Arizona, identified as Parcel Two of Record of Survey (ROS) 2914, and is currently zoned Commercial Two District (C2). Citizens may attend the hearing in person to provide their comments. Written comments may also be submitted in advance and must be received by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2025.
